Cruise Alert!

Well, in spite of all my good intentions, I have not found time to keep up with this blog on a daily basis, nor weekly! And now the time approaches for my Caribbean cruise, which leaves Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.  My mother and I are on the Royal Princess.  I cannot wait to leave this wretched Ontario winter behind for a week!  We're supposed to be getting even more snow on top of these extremely cold temperatures just in time for our departure on Saturday.  Caribbean here I come!  I will be posting lots of pics when I return, so you can all enjoy some of the sunshine with me. 

 

This is an artist's rendering of the top deck of Royal Princess at night (click on the picture for a bigger view).  There are light and fountain shows each evening by the pool, and movies under the stars.  We have a balcony cabin this time, which adds another dimension to the cruise.  And of course... lots of good eats!! See you in a week!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Now that Christmas is over, and all the preparation, excitement and clearing up of Christmas and New Years are about to come to an end, I am hoping that when things settle down I'll be able to post more regularly on here.  I have a cruise vacation coming up at the end of January, so I'll definitely be posting pics and stories when I get back!  The winter weather continues to be a complete trial, and it's SO cold right now, that a week in the Caribbean is much looked forward to!  I wish you all the best in 2014!
